Louis A. Bencardino and the Bencardino Excavating crew broke ground at the NorthEast Police Training center in May of this year. The existing site, located off of Woodhaven Road, is undergoing a complete renovation that is expected to be complete in Spring 2015. Louis A. Bencardino Excavating was hired by the Hunter Roberts Construction Company to complete all site work required for the project. Currently, the team is installing new storm, sanitary and water systems to serve the updated building. Once the new systems are in place, the crew will move on to paving and working with the Eagle I Electric to pour concrete for the install of all new site lighting as well in the parking lot. Once complete, the state-of-the-art training center equipped with a high-tech, green building, will serve new hundreds of police recruits and provide additional training veteran officers.
