Happy 25th Anniversary Everybody! We're observing 25 years in business this month. From a humble beginning with one backhoe and owner Lou Bencardino as its only employee to a fleet of earth-moving machines and almost 50 employees, Bencardino Excavating has been a premier excavation contractor for jobs big and small across Southeastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Starting the business in 1988, Louis Bencardino worked out of a family residence until the business was profitable enough to purchase a small plot of land. The company relocated in 1995 to its current site on Wells Drive in Bensalem. At first, the facility was made up of a small building with a make-shift office. The company then purchased additional acreage next to the original plot allowing for the expansion of a small complex where machinery is stored and maintained and where the hub of the Bencardino business office resides today.

"These last 25 years have provided some great experiences and we are proud of what we've built here," said Louis A. Bencardino. "My crew and I look forward to the next 25 years as we continue to grow this business and move dirt for many years to come." Congratulations Lou, here's to 25 more years.
