Bencardino was awarded the Paving and Stormwater Management Project for the Widener Memorial School in Philadelphia. The project started is to be completed in two phases. Phase 1 started in early April 2019 and completed in middle of May 2019. Phase 2 started in early June 2019 and is scheduled to be completed by middle of August 2019. The project consists of constructing a new on-site storm system to control the stormwater from the entire parking area and driveways. The existing storm line was a combination line, which handled sanitary waste and storm runoff. With the construction of new storm lines, the on-site sanitary waste and storm runoff will be separate lines. In addition to the new storm system, Bencardino is resurfacing the parking lots and drive areas with new asphalt.
