Bencardino Excavating, headquartered in Bensalem, Pa., and owned by Louis A. Bencardino, was recently awarded a contract to complete work on WHYY radio station on 6th and Race Street in Philadelphia.

WHYY is a trusted news source and local treasure.  This construction project will enable the station to expand and provide even more news, education and arts programming to listeners,” said Louis Bencardino.

According to Lou Bencardino, Bencardino Excavating will be responsible for the completion of WHYY’s new addition to the building. The contract includes foundation work, excavation and backfill, asphalt paving and curb construction, storm sewer pipe work and more.
