Bencardino, was recently awarded a contract to complete work on WHYY radio station on 6th and Race Street in Philadelphia. “We always value the opportunity to work with nonprofits, so when we were awarded the contract to complete renovations to WHYY radio station, we were thrilled. WHYY is a trusted news source and local treasure.  This construction project will enable the station to expand and provide even more news, education and arts programming to listeners,” said Louis Bencardino. According to Lou Bencardino, Bencardino Excavating will be responsible for the completion of WHYY’s new addition to the building. The contract includes foundation work, excavation and backfill, asphalt paving and curb construction, storm sewer pipe work and more.
